I haven't tried a straight forward portrait in quite a while, so this was a bit of a struggle and I don't think I'm entirely happy with the results. At least now I have a drawing of my son to give to the grandparents. Win-win, I say! If my work schedule allows, I plan to post more portraits every once in a while.
